Try this tasty recipe for grilled lamb chops with friends or family. It will be the highlight of the evening. The use of freshly cut herbs adds a touch of freshness!
Ingredients
8 Fontaine Family lamb chops
Garden herb marinade
Fresh herbs, choose 2 types among: parsley, basil, thyme, rosemary, chives (choose a minimum of 2 sprigs)
¼ cup (60 ml) olive oil
2 tbsp (30 mL) honey
1 tbsp (15 mL) Dijon mustard
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
Chop the herbs and save a few leaves for use when cooking.
Mix all the ingredients of the marinade. Add the cut herbs to marinade.
Coat the chops with the marinade and set aside in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Cook on the barbecue over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Add reserved herbs halfway through cooking.
Side dishes
Serve with oven-baked sweet potato fries or seasoned potato wedges.
Tips and Tricks
You can use maple syrup instead of honey.
Marinated lamb chops can be prepared the day before.
